Shen Yun — the world’s leading dance institution — has announced this year’s timetable of programs across dozens of the country's most distinguished stadiums, including the Fred Kavli Theatre At Bank Of America Performing Arts Center on Saturday 31st January 2026!

Long before the period of Communist rule, 5000 YEARS of legends, arts, and culture thrived in each region of the Chinese mainland, and year in and year out, the NYC-founded Shen Yun breathes life into these enduring treasures for everyone to cherish! 2026 is no exception.

Celestial beings marching across the earth. Infinite grasslands streaked by hordes of Mongolian nomads. And the wartime heroics of dauntless warriors. Shen Yun’s yearly exhibitions center around the countless fables and sagas that crossed Chinese dynasties, artistically illustrating their calamities and fortunes with principles from Buddhist and Taoist creeds to complete each tale.

The approaching presentation will feature 20 narrative sections of unbelievable performances in about two hours. Classically instructed dancers dressed in charmingly colorful costumes will glide to the floor, recounting the show’s sagas through 17 or 18 intricate folk dance sequences. In addition, 2 to 3 instrumental and vocal solos will punctuate these phases with invigorating harmonies — both original and traditional.

A live band will perform rousing music throughout the show, seamlessly uniting Western and Chinese instrumentation. In regard to staging, Shen Yun makes use of a cutting-edge digital background to display animated scenes, pulling viewers into the realm of ancient Chinese civilizations in a spectacular fashion.
