Since 1985, the California Dance Theater has trained and nurtured aspiring dancers to become the next generation of professional performers. Led by founders and artistic director Joyce Hurley, Kim Masellk, and administrative director Lori Lorenzen, the school, has created some of the most accomplished and talented dancers in California. The school aims to instill the love for dancing in students varying from beginners to advanced dancers. The California Dance Theatre has an eclectic array of dance curriculums, such as classical ballet, jazz, mode, lyrical, tap, musical theater, acrobatics, and hip-hop.
