The standout performer will be talking about the funny experience of growing up Asian, the happy moments of a married life, and the light moments of the mundane being made extra interesting when combined with his undeniable humor. Known for the clean nature of his shows, Cho shares that The Empty Nest Tour will remain family-friendly, saying, “I've always been clean,” He expounds on the idea by sharing that it was “a personal decision when I started. If a joke is clean and gets a laugh, I know it's due to the joke. Being clean doesn't split your crowd. Jerry Seinfeld told me decades ago that he didn't understand why a comedian would work on a joke that you couldn't do on national television.”
Cho is a comedy mainstay that was able to maintain his privacy despite being in the business since the ‘80s. Cho’s privacy as an entertainer was an active choice. The performer has shared how he “never stopped touring. I just dropped out of doing movies and TV as I was raising my kids. It was more important for me to attend sporting events, recitals, etc. I toured more regionally for a long time, so I could coach my kids' baseball and basketball teams.” It seems like his prioritization of “Faith. Family. Fame.” has paid off, as he remains a very relevant figure in the comedy industry while enjoying a balanced life.
