PHIL ROSENTHAL

Phil Rosenthal is a man of many talents. He began his work life career as an actor, then progressed to Television writing and production. He is better known for his creation of the TV Sitcom series, Everybody Loves Raymond. This career took him through ten years of TV Sitcoms. In the mid twenty teens, he decided to take a show on the road, and travelled worldwide, on a documentary, showcasing different cultures and different cuisine, with specialties from friends he met before and during the docuseries.

Having completed his sitcom series of 'Everybody Loves Raymond' in 2005, Phil Rosenthal then, in 2018, took a film crew on tour of the world. Visiting different countries, experiencing different cultures and spent a lot of time discussing and eating specialty foods from the different corners of the world. Along the way, he met with old acquaintances, and made new friends, in his pursuit of different flavors of the globe. Phil is now appearing at the Kavli Theater at the Bank of America Performing Arts Center, on Sunday, August 10th, to enlighten and educate the audience on his travels and experiences. With a somewhat dry sense of humor, Phil has what it takes to keep an audience enthralled and interested for the entire length of the show, showcasing many, many hilarious moments of his travels, and his days behind the cameras. His ardent love and fascination for food, from all over the world, has led to the creation of the coveted James Beard Award, an award, often referred to as the Oscars of the food world, is presented annually, recognizing anyone working in the food and restaurant industry, for their dedication and love for food. .
